The Synopsis
In John Woo's explosive 1997 action thriller, FBI agent Sean Archer undergoes a radical surgical procedure to assume the identity and face of his arch-nemesis, terrorist Castor Troy, in order to uncover the location of a deadly bomb. However, when Troy awakens and retaliates by taking Archer's face, the two men are trapped in each other's lives, spiraling into a spectacular and violent showdown where identities blur and personal stakes reach fever pitch.
