The Synopsis
After witnessing a mob hit in 1929 Chicago, two jazz musicians, Joe and Jerry, flee the city by disguising themselves as Josephine and Daphne, members of an all-female orchestra bound for Florida. Their elaborate masquerade quickly unravels as Joe falls for the band's alluring singer, Sugar Kane, and Jerry finds himself unexpectedly romanced by a millionaire, all while their mob pursuers close in.
